Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to elderly residents. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in caring for the elderly and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication according to individual care plans
- Support residents with mobility and physical activities
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the senior staff
- Ensure the safety and security of residents at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a care setting, preferably with the elderly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others
- Understanding of safeguarding and health and safety practices
- Applicants must be flexible & available to work any given hours or day Monday to Sunday, including day & night shifts.
