Description

Prime Time Kids Club is a wraparound childcare setting for children of Primary School age years) it offers quality play, activities and childcare before the school day and after the school day primarily for working parents. In school holidays we run a holiday club from 7.30am to 6.00pm. We are an Ofsted registered setting.

To assist with activities and the day-to-day organisation of the holiday club play scheme.

This will include:

  • Taking part in the day-to-day administration such as completing registers, accident and incident forms, safeguarding concern logs as required.
  • Providing safe, creative, appropriate play activities, preparation of activities and supervision of children aged years
  • Have good communication with parents and carers
  • Work as a team with other staff whilst also showing good initative for solving problems as needed
  • Close liaison with parents, school representatives, other childcare/play related agencies and visitors to the scheme.
  • Attend meetings as appropriate.
  • Carry out all responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities framework
  • Manage children's behaviour in an appropiate manner in line with setting policies
  • Attend training as required in Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid.

Information

Approx 16-25 hours per week Monday to Friday in school holidays. Made up of hours each day between the times of 7.30am and 6.00pm ( open to discuss the hours in total per week to suit the right applicant 16 hours minium up to 25 hours per week )

School holidays are normally

Approx 5 weeks over the summer July - August ( time off on the last week of August)

1 week towards the end of October

Christmas end of term up to 23rd December, returning 2nd January till school term starts

1 week approx mid February

2 weeks over the Easter period

1 week over May/June half term

Bank holidays off

NEST pension offered

Sick pay after 1 year

Holiday pay pro rata

Free childcare where of Primary School age

Hourly rate £12.35

Childcare/Play Work experience desirable orformal qualification desirable but not essential

Paediatric First Aid training provided

Safeguarding Training provided

Clear DBS check and references including your most recent employer are required as part of the safer recruitment for children government guidelines - provided by the employer

A satisfactory health check is required
