Role Summary

The Operations Systems Support department sits within the operations function, with its focus being the XTP back-office platform and associated static data management. Additionally, the Regulatory Reporting department is responsible for daily processing of all firms exchange & regulatory reporting functions not limited to MiFID TR, MIFID CPR, EMIR, GCM & LTR requirements. Maintaining robust procedures and controls to ensure the firm meets their reporting requirements.

This role will support the administration of operational systems and maintenance of static data related to back-office platforms, including assisting with system upgrades and enhancements to ensure robust and stable operational processing.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of global financial and regulatory reporting solutions and controls, helping to ensure compliance with the firm's exchange and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily monitoring and problem resolution associated with MiFID Transaction Reporting.
  • Assist with daily monitoring and problem resolution related to EMIR Trade, Position, and Valuation Reporting.
  • Help monitor and resolve issues related to Exchange Reporting (LTR) on a daily basis.
  • Maintain and update general static data, Exchange, and Regulatory enrichment information across platforms utilized by Operations.
  • Support daily monitoring and resolution associated with Securities Finance Transaction Reporting (SFTR).
  • Follow and contribute to maintaining written procedures for daily and monthly departmental tasks.
  • Manage email communications efficiently, including both personal and group mailboxes, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's exchange and regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with the operational risk framework relevant to your role, ensuring all regulatory and company parameters are met.
  • Demonstrate high standards of integrity and conduct, reflecting the Company's values in daily activities.
  • Adhere to the FCA's Code of Conduct [UK only] / Marex's Code of Conduct [non-UK].
  • Stay informed and comply with internal policies related to your role and responsibilities.
  • Report any breaches of policy promptly to Compliance and/or supervisors as required.
  • Escalate risk events immediately and provide support to risk management processes as needed.
