We're looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our Nxt Level Coaching team, supporting children before and after school in a fun, active and nurturing environment.
You'll be taking over from our wonderful long-standing team member Sue, who is retiring in May after many fantastic years with us.
This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children aged 4–11 — planning engaging activities and helping make each child's day start and end on a positive note.
It's also an ideal opportunity for a parent looking for term-time, family-friendly hours.
We're searching for someone who is not only passionate about providing outstanding care but also committed to supporting children's holistic growth and development.
Role and Expectations
- Running fun, safe and age-appropriate activities (arts, crafts, games, sports, and creative play).
- Building warm, positive relationships with children, parents and school staff.
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Preparing and serving snacks.

About You
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
- Friendly, reliable and genuinely enjoy working with children.
- Confident leading activities and engaging young people through play.
- Professional, approachable and organised.
- A strong communicator who can work well as part of a team.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in childcare, playwork or education.
- Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare or Playwork.
- Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene or Safeguarding training (can be provided).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17.5 per week
