Beauty Therapist (Self-Employed) – Focus on Facials & Massage

Location: Long Sutton, Somerset

Hours: Up to 12 hours per week initially (flexible days)

About Paloma Beauty & Wellness

Paloma is a quietly magical beauty and wellness space in the heart of Somerset. We offer indulgent, results-driven treatments in a calm, intimate setting, blending luxury with earthy ritual.

We're looking for a skilled, self-employed beauty therapist with a passion for facials and massage to join us for 1–2 days per week.

About the Role

Working under the Paloma brand, you'll deliver our unique facial and massage treatments in a thoughtfully designed space. You'll be supported with detailed protocols, ongoing admin support, and a steady stream of clients. You'll become part of Paloma's image and be a valued part of a newly forming team

Social Media & Marketing

As part of your role, you'll be encouraged to run and grow a personal Instagram account under the Paloma Beauty & Wellness brand. This helps showcase your work, engage with clients, and build your own loyal following within our community. We provide guidance and content ideas, but you'll have creative freedom to make it your own. This will also enable you to advertise your availability to boost earnings

About You

You're confident, grounded, and professional, with a passion for holistic treatments and high standards of care. You are:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Beauty or Massage Therapy
  • Self-employed, insured, and eligible to work in the UK
  • Experienced in facials and massage (ideally 1+ years)
  • Available 1–2 days per week (some Saturdays preferred)
  • Open to taking payment via your own card reader, or through Paloma's system

Territory and Exclusivity

To protect your client base and our brand, we ask that while working with Paloma Beauty & Wellness, you do not offer the same services under your own brand or for any direct competitors within a 5-mile radius of our studio. This helps maintain a fair working environment and ensures everyone benefits from the team's shared reputation.

Pay – Percentage-Based Contribution (Not Commission)

This is a self-employed opportunity. You will retain a percentage of your treatment income and be invoiced for Paloma's share.

  • Keep 50% of treatment income
  • Paloma will invoice you weekly or monthly for our share
  • You keep all tips
  • You are responsible for your own tax and national insurance

Example: For a £70 treatment, you would keep £35
