Job Summary

Spor-T Learning Ltd are seeking an experienced, energetic, passionate and professional Football Coach to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong behaviour management skills alongside experience in the sports coaching of primary aged children.

This role could also involve delivering a variety of sports including basketball & unihoc, to name a few; enhancing skills, and fostering a positive sporting environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth. This would be offered on a cover/adhoc basis to the right candidate.

You would also have assistant coaches supporting the session.

Sessions take place straight after school as part of an extensive extra-curricular programme. You would be required to run sessions on TUESDAYS pm term-time only. Additional days may be offered to the right candidate.

Duties

  • Deliver a well planned session (3.20pm-4.30pm), that will engage and motivate young children
  • Foster a safe, supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment of the sport.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe training environment.
  • Communicate effectively with Lead Coach, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and development.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in multi- sports coaching or a related field is essential.
  • DBS certification-essential and can be organised
  • First Aid- essential and can be organised
  • Safeguarding Training- essential and can be organised
  • Level 1 in any sport as a minimum is preferred
  • Experience working with young children essential
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire others.
