Job Title: Reservations Agent

Main Purpose of the Role

As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests looking to experience the Langdale Estate. You will play a key role in maximising room and service sales across our properties and offerings, ensuring a seamless and personalised booking experience for every guest.

This role is primarily based on-site at the Langdale Estate, with the potential for remote working depending on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries with professionalism via phone, email, and online platforms for:
• Langdale Hotel and Brimstone Hotel room bookings
• Treatment bookings at our Spa
• Restaurant reservations at our on-site dining venues
• Self-catering holidays in lodges and apartments
• Timeshare week sales and enquiries
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through effective communication and upselling and cross selling techniques
• Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest preferences using the property management system (PMS)
• Provide detailed information about the estate's facilities, packages, and local attractions
• Collaborate with the Spa, Restaurant, and Guest Services teams to ensure smooth guest experiences. Clear communication of all special requests, accessibility, dietary requirements.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
• Support Meetings & Events Coordinator by addressing initial enquiries and effectively communicating requests and changes to existing group bookings
• Managing hotel inventory to maximise bookings
• Ensure cancellation policies, deposits and confirmations are communications are followed.
• Resolve booking conflicts or last-minute changes calmly and efficiently
• Being knowledgeable of and able to explain the benefits included in room rates
• Being aware of and able to explain current special offers and packages
• Operating and managing waitlists
• Works closely with the Operational team to ensure a seamless guest journey from booking to departure
