JOB TITLE: Event Assistant/Bar Person

Reporting to: Food & Beverage Operations Manager

Contract: Casual

Hours of Work: Football Matchdays & Non-Matchday Events.

Location: Meadow Lane, Nottingham

Pay: National Minimum Wage up to £12.71 per hour

Role Purpose

We are looking for experienced waiting and bar staff to join our Food & Beverage team at Notts County Football Club. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional hospitality service during matchdays and events, ensuring guests enjoy a first-class experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, efficient, and courteous table service to all guests.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of hospitality areas before and after events.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Handle cash and card transactions securely and accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service throughout events.
  • Uphold company policies and licensing regulations at all times.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as waiting and/ or bar staff is essential – applicants without this will not be considered.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, well-presented, and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences

The appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to two professional/personal references to the satisfaction of Notts County Football Club.
