The Role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Science
across KS3 to KS4, with the option to specialize in one of the sciences at KS5. The department is well-resourced, featuring modern laboratories and cutting-edge teaching tools, allowing educators to deliver creative and engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love for science.
This position is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). For candidates with leadership potential or experience, a TLR
may be offered as part of the salary package.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach General Science
across KS3 and KS4, and specialize in a subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at KS5. - Inspire students with engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote scientific thinking and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and participate in extracurricular science-related activities.
- Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Position: Science Teacher with expertise in teaching KS3 to KS4 General Science and a KS5 specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Qualifications: A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Eligibility: Legal right to work in the UK and a clear DBS check.
