Vacancy – Commercial Cleaner.

Stiller Warehousing & Distribution Ltd, have a vacancy for a Commercial Cleaner based out of our Head Office site at Ridgeway – Newton Aycliffe. The ideal candidate will be required to undertake a schedule of cleaning duties across various offices onsite. This role is an immediate start.

We are looking for someone who is an experienced commercial cleaner who takes pride in knowing that the site is presented at all times providing a clean and safe environment for our staff and the best possible light for both our current clients and potential new business clients. Full cleaning equipment is provided.

Candidate Requirements:

· Previous experience in commercial cleaning of large office, canteen and WC facilities.

· Organized and able to work on own initiative.

· Able to multitask, have ability to prioritise and be effective at problem solving where requirements change.

· Have a positive can-do attitude.

Main Responsibilities & Duties following training:

· A cleaning schedule is in place which identifies daily, weekly and bi-weekly cleaning requirements.

To ensure all areas are completed within scheduled dates, an example list is provided below:

o Cleaning of reception areas across the site.

o Cleaning office desks and equipment.

o Vacuuming of all carpeted areas.

o Emptying of all bins from offices, canteen and WC facilities.

o Cleaning of all counters and hard surfaces.

o Clean windows and any glass areas.

o Wet wipe of windowsills and blinds.

o Cleaning of kitchen areas, including tables, chairs, all hard surfaces, dishwasher, microwave and fridges.

o Sweep and mop of kitchen floor, corridors and washroom floors.

o Cleaning of WC facilities to include, toilets, sinks, mirror's.

o Replenish WC and Kitchen comestibles.

o Anti-bac wipe of all doors and push pad areas.

Additional duties:

Ø Stock management of cleaning products and equipment.

Ø Where required, to assist in the preparation and set up of board room for meetings.

Terms of Employment.

· The hours of work will be 40 hours per week / 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday predominately between the hours of 06.00 – 16.00hrs, you will be entitled to a paid 40-minute break per 8 hour shift.

· Candidates should be flexible to work additional hours as required by the business, any hours worked in excess of 40 hours would be paid at overtime rates.

· The position will be based at Unit 10, Ridgeway, Aycliffe Business Park, Newton Aycliffe. DL5 6SP, however there may be a requirement to work from other sites within the business.

· Hourly rate of pay £12.66/hour- overtime paid after 40 hours worked. Shift allowances are paid where applicable.

· Annual Holiday Entitlement 20 days plus 8 statutory days.
