We're now looking for a Deputy Head of Programmes to play a key role in developing and delivering our expanding portfolio. This role combines hands-on delivery with the opportunity to shape the future of our curriculum and digital offer through our new online platform, Lightbulb.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Curriculum, Education & Quality, the Deputy Head of Programmes will:

  • Deliver approximately 50 one-day programmes each year across the Midlands and North, ensuring exceptional quality and learner engagement.
  • Support the development and improvement of our enterprise, careers, and employability curricula, both in-person and online.
  • Contribute to the design and creation of digital assets, activities, and resources for our Lightbulb online learning platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to generate new ideas, content, and delivery approaches that enhance our programmes' impact.
  • Represent TILG at schools, partner meetings, and industry events, promoting our mission and programmes.
  • Provide input into strategic decisions around programme innovation, reach, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher, trainer, or education professional seeking a role with greater variety, creativity, and purpose with at least 3 years experience.
  • Experienced in curriculum or content development, with an interest in digital learning and blended education.
  • Confident and engaging when delivering sessions to young people and professional audiences alike.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with a willingness to travel for programme delivery.
  • Passionate about helping young people develop enterprise, employability, and life skills.

Essential:

  • Familiarity with the UK education system.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Location - within driving distance to the office in Stafford as this role is predominately office based.
