We're a trusted, family-run concrete supplier based in Greendale Business Park, just outside Exeter, providing high-quality volumetric concrete to both domestic and commercial customers across Devon.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a new Mobile Batch Plant Operator / Concrete Mixer Driver to join our friendly team at our Totnes yard.

If you enjoy hands-on work, being out on the road, and talking with customers, this could be the perfect fit.

Experience in concrete mixing or batching is a bonus — but don't worry if you're new to it, we'll provide full training.

What matters most is your positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Driving and operating a Volumetric Concrete Mixer / Mobile Batch Plant
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
  • Loading the mixer with our Telehandler
  • Producing concrete to customer requirements on-site
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Communicating clearly with customers, site staff, and our office team
  • Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Valid HGV / LGV Class 2 Licence
  • Up to date Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
  • A good mechanical understanding
  • Have Telehandler experience
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Must live within reasonable travel distance of our yard at Marland's Park Newton Road Totnes (TQ9 6LS)
