The Enterprise Applications Delivery Manager will be responsible for the project management and delivery of the technology components of strategic and tactical projects relating to the Enterprise applications area.

In addition, the Enterprise Application Delivery Manager will also be responsible for delivery of the prioritised roadmaps of the Applications in this area.

Requirements
What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for delivery of Enterprise Applications projects. Accountable for managing the scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks associated with the delivery.
  • Work with Head of Applications to oversee/manage the roadmap relating to various products as part of the Enterprise Applications Portfolio which are prioritised.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and provide regular updates as part of the Project or Roadmap delivery. Build strong relationships with key business and technology stakeholders.
  • Deliver projects and roadmaps in line with the Control Risks project delivery methodology.
  • Ensure all Enterprise Applications workstreams that are part of a Company-wide or ETS wide project are delivered according to agreed plan.
  • Ensure risks and issues are raised to Project Leadership team through the appropriate governance for Company wide or ETS wide projects.
  • Operate in a proactive manner to unblock blockers or smooth path of successful delivery
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project lifecycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
  • Manages deliverable estimation process, resource allocation and efficient utilization; negotiates resource conflicts with other project managers or resources managers as appropriate.
  • Reports accurate status and process delivery monitoring through the phases of the Solution Delivery Management process.
  • Provide effective day-to-day delivery management of multiple Enterprise Applications related projects and roadmaps, including liaising with third parties as applicable.
  • Ensure Architecture and impact on other areas are considered as part of the overall solution.
  • Ensure Information Security, Service Transition, Infrastructure components and Disaster Recovery (as applicable) are built into the solutions before these are deployed into active service.
  • Develop or update the Application Support model to ensure that there are adequate SLAs in place to support the operation of the Service in Production.
  • Ensure that all technical and operational documentation associated with the Projects in the Enterprise Applications area are delivered and accepted.
  • Ensure any warranty/hyper-care period of a new solution is clearly defined and executed with defined RACI covering Control Risks and Third party responsibilities.
  • Deliver other initiatives from time to time as required which are prioritised.
  • Periodically, and when required, undertake business analysis to support the evaluation and potential delivery of EA projects.
Who You Are:

Essential

  • Demonstrates experience in the project management and the integration of 3rd party applications into an enterprise ERP or CRM platform, preferably D365 suite
  • Demonstrate the experience to manage the cloud development environments and infrastructure
  • Ability to lead and motivate others; demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types
  • Good experience with formal project management methodologies and planning tools (Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid)
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to working in a global partnership or similar organisation and to interacting with senior leadership
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them
  • Extensive experience dealing with Third party SIs and vendors.
  • Ideally,10+ years of demonstrated experience managing a high-performing, cohesive team.

Desirable

  • Knowledge or experience with D365 suite and/or Power Platform
  • Qualification and/or experience in formal project management methodologies
  • Business Process Analysis experience
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources
  • Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills
  • Must have previous experience managing technology projects.
  • Previous matrix management experience in a similar organisation
  • Been part of a global IT team that operates as a single "business unit" irrespective of other organisational structures
  • Strong consultative approach (relationship & engagement skills)
  • Delivery focused and a strong team player; particularly given that this is a global team with multiple time zones etc.
  • Has the willingness and ability to pick up knowledge of critical Enterprise Applications, in course of time, although at a high level
  • Analyses situations and looks at broader picture; looks beyond own team and department to take a global view on issues where appropriate
  • Balances risks with decision making, being prepared to mitigate risk
  • Acts decisively and makes tough decisions even when under pressure; assertive in the face of demanding situations
