Do you have a track record of delivering major construction projects and portfolios of works? Able to contribute to the development of successful team?  If so, we are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our Project Management consultancy team in Bristol.

Your success in this position will be defined through utilising your expertise to identify and develop opportunities in Bristol and the surrounding area.

You will be supported in this role by our Regional Director who leads our Project Management offering from the Bristol office, operating with like-minded experts in the Programme Project and Cost Management team that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

About Our Team:

We have proven expertise delivering a range of large, complex projects that range from £5m to over £250m, plus the delivery of programmes of work for various central and local governance authorities as part of regional and national frameworks. 

Our Project Management teams are working with various clients in the public sector, including local authorities for delivery of their specialist school facilities, central government clients managing programmes of work across their estate as part of national and regional frameworks, the ministry of defence and, several higher education institutions notably the University of Bristol and the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.

Here's what you'll do:

You will need to have the ability and enthusiasm to lead integrated teams on large complex projects and portfolios of projects. Provide strategic leadership mirrored with technical delivery knowledge to our clients and project management whilst also providing senior management support to the operational running of the Project Management team and widder PPC business unit.

Your technical abilities and knowledge would cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development, through the design process, procurement process, site delivery, commissioning phase and defects management.

You will have a proven track record in business development and work winning. As a Project Director, you will be expected to monitor and respond to opportunities and foster collaborative relationships with the wider consultancy and contracting community as well as current and future clients. 

You will be able to devise and implement business development strategies using a strong professional network and be able to build a team around you as we work towards the goal of being the number one recognised construction consultancy in the South West.

Here's what we're looking for:

Qualifications

• Professional Qualified – ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree
• Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant Post Graduate Qualification
• APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)
• Prince 2 or MSP experience
• NEC Contract Administration
