Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated support workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including care homes, supported living facilities, and mental health environments. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and well-being

Duties
- Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Administering or supporting with the ordering of medication as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Perform manual handling tasks when required, ensuring the safety of both the service user and yourself.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in senior care and medical terminology.
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as childcare, assisted living, dementia care, supported living, senior care, or patient care
- Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
