We're looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our busy waste and recycling yard. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely to keep the site running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a loading shovel to move, load, and stockpile waste materials
- Feeding shredders, screens, and other plant equipment as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area in line with site procedures
- Carrying out basic daily checks and maintenance on the machine
- Supporting general yard duties when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a loading shovel in a waste, quarry, or construction environment
- Valid loading shovel operator ticket (e.g. CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent)
- Good understanding of health & safety on site
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Competitive hourly rate + overtime
Full PPE and training provided

Pay: £12.21-£21.44 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
