Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient head barman to join our vibrant team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, maintaining cleanliness standards, and providing exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a range of wines, cocktails, and various beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Handle customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
  • Follow food safety regulations diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including light snack or pastry service.
  • Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using basic maths skills.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods by managing time effectively.
  • Uphold health and safety policies, including proper handling of food items and cleaning procedures.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred to ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Experience with food preparation or serving hot beverages will be advantageous.
  • Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
  • Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team while maintaining excellent customer service standards is crucial for success in this role. This position offers an engaging environment where you can refine your skills in hospitality while contributing positively to our team's success.
