Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Office Administrator to join our team at Altius LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, supporting office operations, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and experience in office management to contribute to a professional and dynamic work environment.

Duties

  • Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing them appropriately
  • Organising and maintaining filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
  • Data entry and updating records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
  • Supporting team members with administrative tasks to enhance overall efficiency
  • Managing office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
  • Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times

Experience

  • Proven office experience or administrative background is essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent typing skills and data entry accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
