About the Role

We are looking for a
Digital Inclusion / Technical Support Officer
to help us make digital spaces more accessible for our community. Technology plays a vital role in helping our members stay connected, especially for those who may be isolated or less confident using digital tools. This role sits at the heart of that mission - as you will be using your digital know-how to support members through digital training in person and online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver digital inclusion training and one-to-one support at our community hubs and through online sessions
  • Maintain and update our website content to ensure information is current and easy to navigate
  • Create and schedule digital newsletters using Mailchimp to keep our community informed
  • Coordinate community events and bookings using Eventbrite
  • Provide light technical support and maintain our internal Google Workspace systems
  • Contribute to improving our digital accessibility and user experience for members with varying levels of digital confidence

Role Details

  • Part-time: 2 days per week
  • Travel occasionally required across Yorkshire to support in-person hub sessions
  • Hybrid working with a mix of remote tasks and community visits

About Out Together

Out Together is a Yorkshire-based charity that champions social inclusion for older LGBT+ people by hosting regular activities, events and community support programmes. We exist to reduce loneliness and isolation by creating safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect, share experiences and feel part of a supportive community. Our work spans weekly social hubs, befriending services, digital inclusion support and outreach across both urban and rural areas.
