Now, as they continue to grow, they're looking for a Senior Surveyor to bring technical excellence, leadership, and passion to their team.

The Role

As Tapco's new Senior Surveyor, you'll be the face of Tapco Homedry on-site — combining technical know-how with exceptional customer service. You'll lead on inspections, produce high-quality reports, and guide clients through solutions with confidence and professionalism.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own schedule while being supported by their friendly admin, sales, and operational teams who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out detailed surveys on damp, timber decay, and structural/basement waterproofing issues
  • Produce clear, concise, and technically accurate reports to a consistently high standard
  • Discuss findings with clients, answering questions and offering expert recommendations
  • Respond promptly to calls and emails, providing sound, professional advice
  • Build lasting client relationships, ensuring repeat business and trust
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and industry regulations
  • Stay up to date with the latest techniques, products, and best practices

What You'll Bring

  • CSTDB qualification (minimum) – CSSW highly desirable
  • Proven experience in damp surveying, timber decay analysis, and structural waterproofing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to produce top-quality reports
  • Confident client-facing approach with a commitment to excellent service
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
