A high-achieving secondary school in Ealing is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their thriving English department on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and expertise.
  • Foster a love of reading, writing, and speaking in students, encouraging them to explore a variety of literary genres and styles.
  • Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to express their ideas and develop their communication skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative English curriculum that challenges and inspires students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic and personal growth.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for English.
  • A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in English.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • A passion for English language and literature and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young people.
