Tea and the Gang is a growing premium café and catering brand with sites in Peterborough, Warwick, Watford and Newmarket, plus an expanding online presence. We are known for exceptional coffee, tea, matcha and freshly made food — all crafted with passion and delivered with outstanding service.

We're now investing in the next stage of our growth: expanding our corporate catering programme and securing new café locations within office buildings, business parks and high-footfall spaces.

This role is central to that growth.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated On-the-Road Sales Representative to drive new business across two key areas:

1. Hospitality Catering Sales

You'll visit offices, business parks, event spaces and corporate venues to introduce our premium catering offering, using sample boxes to showcase our food and drinks. Your goal is to generate strong leads and book qualified meetings with decision-makers for our Director to close.

2. New Café Location Acquisition

You'll identify and approach potential new café locations — such as office buildings, business parks, shared workspaces and commercial developments — to secure opportunities for Tea and the Gang to operate new on-site cafés. Even one successful site can deliver significant growth, making this a high-impact part of the role.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Visiting prospective clients to pitch our catering solutions.
  • Delivering sample boxes and presenting the brand with confidence.
  • Identifying potential new café locations and engaging key stakeholders.
  • Booking high-quality meetings for our Director to close catering or café site deals.
  • Planning your routes and managing outreach activity.
  • Working from our Lynch Wood Park office two days per week to research, plan and follow up.
  • Representing Tea and the Gang with enthusiasm, pride and professionalism.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident, energetic and excellent at building relationships.
  • Comfortable being out on the road and approaching businesses face-to-face.
  • Highly organised, self-driven and motivated by achieving targets.
  • Well-presented, with strong communication skills.
  • Passionate about great coffee, tea, matcha and fresh food.
  • Holding a full UK driving licence and owning your own car (mileage paid).
  • Able to work 3-4 days on the road and 1-2 days in the office.

Experience in field sales, hospitality, customer service or business development is a bonus — but full training will be given.
