Rocking Horse Nursery are looking for a qualified level 3 practitioner to join our team.

We are a well established family run nursery based in Kingswood, Bristol. We follow the high/scope approach and promote an active learning style.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum level 3 early years qualification

  • Minimum 1 year nursery experience

-Good communication skills with children, parents and colleagues

  • The ability to work as part of a team

  • A good understanding of the safeguarding requirements for babies and children

Key Responsibilities

  • To act as a key worker for a small group of children

  • To plan and carry out activities and experiences, both indoors and outdoors

  • To carry out observations and assessments on children's development

  • To build and maintain strong relationships with parents and support the children's home/nursery daily care routines.

We value and encourage practitioners to develop their knowledge and practice and offer training opportunities to promote career development. There are regular opportunities for career promotion and progression.
