Come join our strong Nursing team here at Rylands. We are looking for a permanent Staff Nurse night duty or on a rotation of days and nights. Our team of Nurses combined all bring experience and knowledge to the table, which provides a fantastic learning environment for everyone.

Shifts are Monday to Sunday on a rota basis. Night duty shifts are 7.45pm to 8am. Day duty shifts are 7.45am to 8pm. Early shifts are 7.45am to 2pm.

Job type: Permanent 36hrs to 42 hrs

Pay: From £19.05 to £22.65 per hour depending on experience.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Rylands Nursing Home .

Your main role as a nurse is to support our residents with their medical, emotional and social needs. You will work within a team ensuring each of our residents receive the highest quality, person-centred care. You will plan, implement, evaluate and record the care given to residents and make sure our residents' care plans are accurate, personalised and kept up to date. You will help induct, train and supervise colleagues and junior members of staff ensuring they are confident in their role. You will administer medications to our residents with the utmost care and attention ensuring correct procedures are followed. You will promote the independence of our residents and ensure they enjoy a good quality of life and retain their dignity, choice and individuality.

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified registered nurse with current NMC registration and a strong knowledge of professional care standards required by the NMC code of conduct as well as knowledge of up to date clinical practices. You will be aware of H&S procedures required in your role as a nurse and ensure they are followed.

Qualifications: Valid NMC registration and 1 year's post registration experience within the UK.

If employed by Rylands Nursing Home you will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure check and provide referee details for your two most recent employers.

Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
