Mini Bus Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance. This role involves transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Duties

• Safely operate buses along assigned routes, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and cleanliness
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing courteous support as needed
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers using clear language
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tyre pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
• Ensure the bus is kept clean and presentable for passengers

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery driving roles with a valid driver's licence
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with driver licences preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members
• Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally during busy periods or unforeseen incidents
• Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and maintenance procedures is advantageous
