Salesforce Platform Architect

We're seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform Architect to lead the technical vision, governance, and design of our clients Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities


• Act as the architectural authority for Salesforce, guiding internal teams and collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and the Salesforce community.


• Define and enforce architecture principles, governance frameworks, and development standards, ensuring platform consistency and best practices.


• Lead solution design workshops and technical discovery sessions, translating business needs into robust Salesforce solutions.


• Develop and maintain the Salesforce architecture roadmap, aligning with enterprise priorities and future Salesforce capabilities such as AI, MuleSoft, and Tableau.


• Provide technical oversight across Salesforce initiatives, ensuring compliance with the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) and broader enterprise architecture strategy.


• Evaluate and implement new Salesforce technologies and AppExchange solutions to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to GDPR, ISO, and internal data protection standards.


• Oversee enterprise integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, ensuring seamless data and process flow.


• Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and governance policies.

Skills & Experience


• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions across Sales (including CPQ), Service, Marketing, or Experience Clouds.


• Strong technical expertise in Apex (including FFLib), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow Builder, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and API integrations (REST/SOAP).


• Solid understanding of Salesforce security architecture, performance optimization, and data modeling.


• Proven experience leading complex Salesforce projects and aligning technical solutions to business outcomes.


• Proficiency in , Heroku, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem including Partner and AppExchange solutions.


• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.


• Knowledge of integration design, relational database modeling, web services, and data migration techniques.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence at all levels

Salesforce certifications preferred: Application Architect, System Architect, B2C Solution Architect, Integration Architect.
