Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general maintenance person duties.
  • Use diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter to identify electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Assess job sites to determine necessary repairs or improvements and provide clear estimates to clients.
  • Complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain repair processes.
  • Maintain a well-organized toolkit and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar maintenance role, demonstrating versatility across multiple trades.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as an ohmmeter is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, or repair manuals is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required to access various job sites.
