Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated K9 Security Officer WITH OWN DOG to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and caring for a trained security dog, conducting patrols, and ensuring the safety of clients and property. This role requires strong discipline, reliability, and a passion for working with animals in a security environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage a trained K9 unit in security operations.
- Conduct patrols of assigned areas, both on foot and in vehicles.
- Detect and respond to security threats, intrusions, and suspicious activities.
- Maintain the health, hygiene, and training of the YOUR K9.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a K9 handler or in a related security role.
- Certification in K9 handling and training is highly desirable.
- Valid security license.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for working with dogs and ensuring their well-being.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 45 per week
