Principal RF Engineer | £60-80k | Cambridge

My client is a growing and innovative technology company that develops products for a range of markets. They have positioned themselves as a key player in the telecoms sector globally and have ambitious plans to grow their R&D team.

Responsibilities as a Principal RF Engineer
:

  • Technical design and specification of RF circuitry
  • Complete subsystem design and implementation
  • Leading the definition of micro-architectures and verification environments.
  • Designing and developing RF systems at the component level

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in RF design and development, ideally within the telecommunications or critical communications industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RF systems and technologies, including design, simulation (ADS/CST), and testing
  • Significant design experience with RF Tx/Rx Architectures, RF Receivers, RF Transmitters
  • Strong understanding of and experience with LTE/4G/5G

Bonus skills for a Senior FPGA Engineer:

  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in the telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of advanced RF technologies, such as beamforming or MIMO.
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages relevant to RF design and testing.
