Handyman/woman/Maintenance

The Role

We're looking for someone hands-on, practical, and confident in all aspects of furniture handling and assembly. You'll assist our removal teams and occasionally attend customer jobs independently to carry out dismantling, reassembly, and light maintenance tasks.

Main duties include:

• Dismantling and reassembling wardrobes, beds, tables, and other furniture
• Confidently handling flat-pack furniture and fitted wardrobes
• Assembling plastic garden sheds and work benches
• Wall panelling and light handyman work where needed
• Supporting the removal team on residential moves

Requirements

• Must have experience with furniture dismantling and assembly
• Confident with wardrobes and larger pieces (e.g. IKEA Pax systems)
• Good attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship
• Own tools preferred but not essential
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-friendly
• Driving licence preferred but not essential

Hours & Pay

• Part-time, flexible hours available (typically weekdays, occasional weekends)
• Immediate start available
• Competitive hourly rate depending on experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £97.68-£220.00 per day

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
