About Us:

EPC-EM Ltd is a leading project controls consultancy specialising in project controls and commercial. We support clients in delivering complex projects efficiently, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Project Planner to join our team and lead high-impact projects across various sectors.

Role Overview:

As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely project execution. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimise plans and mitigate risks. Salary is negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
  • Work closely with project managers to align schedules with project objectives and milestones.
  • Monitor progress, identify schedule deviations, and propose corrective actions.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and assess project risks.
  • Prepare and present reports on project timelines, progress, and potential delays.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Implement best practices in project planning and scheduling.
  • Support resource allocation and workload forecasting.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner in engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Must be SC cleared.
  • Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct schedule risk analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Desirable:

  • Experience in consultancy environments.
  • Knowledge of UK construction and engineering regulations.
  • Familiarity with cost and resource management principles.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.
