About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic nursery assistant to support our children aged 3 to 5 in our busy Nursery School in the mornings.
As a nursery assistant, you'll play a vital role in fostering social interactions and co-operation among our children, building their language skills. You will be a positive influence, encouraging nutritious eating habits in a relaxed setting.
You will need to be committed to an inclusive approach and ideally have previous experience of working with young children and preferably holding a Level 3 EY's qualification. Food Hygiene training is desirable but full training will be given.

Job Details
Salary: £24,796 - £25,185 pro rata (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Fixed Term (maternity cover)
Working Pattern: 8am-1pm Monday to Friday
Location: Horsham Nursery

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Ideally have a relevant Childcare Qualification.
- Have some experience in working with children aged 0 – 4 years.
- Have a commitment to an inclusive/holistic approach to early years provision.
- Be well organised and able to use their initiative.
- Be a good communicator
- Be able to demonstrate good team working skills working as an integral part of a team.
- To have good organisational skills
- To have a commitment to working flexible hours.
- Be interested in undertaking further training and joining in staff development opportunities
