Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible experienced male brain injury support workers to support our client. Our client is a male who lives with his family.

Our client lives in Ightham, and you will be working on 1:1 basis. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance his independence, daily structure, respecting boundaries, wellbeing and community engagement. Our client is looking for someone cheerful and active, confident to accompany him outdoors. The client attends a weekly horse-riding lesson.

Due to the client needs we are seeking for energetic and active males only, who can drive and have access to their own vehicle.

Hours

3 days per week, 8h shift. Mondays, Thursdays and third day would be flexible. Start time would be late morning.

Pay

£17 - £20 p/h

Responsibilities

  • Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
  • Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
  • Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
  • Assist service users attend health activities.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.

Experience

  • We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care during the day.
  • The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.

Training & Background Checks

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
