Elder and Paton Inverness invite applications for the post of Car Mechanic /Technician - Fitter to carry out repairs on customer vehicles. Good diagnostic skills and electrical skills would be required and be able to work to a very high standard using best practice methods.

Applicants should preferably be fully qualified and have experience across a wide range of vehicles including cars and light commercial vehicles .

Consideration may be given to applicants with a good background of Motor vehicle repairs and have experience of carrying out basic repairs to cars and light commercials to a high standard.

This work is very varied and interesting and will include working on many makes of specialist cars and light commercials including prestige and sports cars.

Excellent working conditions and equipment and excellent teamwork with colleagues

Uniform and work clothing provided .

VARIOUS WORKING ROUTINES CAN BE OFFERED AS FOLLOWS

FULL TIME - MONDAY TO FRIDAY + OVERTIME when busy

Applicants who are in their final apprenticeship year can apply but they need to demonstrate a comprehensive apprenticeship training programme.

Rates of pay and days/hours of work negotiable for the right applicant

Applicants must have the skills set out above and be serious about wishing to take up this role -this is an excellent job opportunity at an excellent salary range and working schedule options. Applicants must have their own personal tool kit - the company will provide diagnostic kit and other specialist tools.
