Compliance and Environmental Reporting Specialist

As our E-commerce Compliance & Environmental Reporting Specialist, you'll use your compliance knowledge and analytical skills to keep our products, packaging, and operations fully compliant - from energy performance and waste reporting to product safety and providing insight for new market launches.
It's a varied, purposeful role where you'll help protect our brands, support our sustainability goals, and ensure Monster Group continues to grow responsibly. You'll have the opportunity to help shape our compliance processes as they continue to evolve. Full training and external development support will be provided for the right person.

What you'll do
- Manage and maintain product and environmental compliance across the UK and EU.
- Prepare and submit packaging waste, WEEE, and energy performance reports.
- Oversee Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) registrations and submissions.
- Support product compliance and labelling processes, making sure new and existing items meet legal and safety standards.
- Monitor regulatory changes related to product, packaging, and environmental compliance, communicating updates to internal teams.
- Help safeguard our intellectual property portfolio, including trademark applications and renewals.
- Provide insight and guidance for new market launches, including selling regulations, and ensuring products and packaging are compliance-ready before going live.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine compliance procedures, improving consistency and efficiency.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in compliance, product safety, or environmental reporting, ideally within retail or e-commerce.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel or similar data tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Confidence to work proactively, follow through on complex compliance requirements, and meet strict deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics simply.
- A genuine interest in environmental responsibility, sustainability, and protecting brand integrity.
- A collaborative mindset and the desire to contribute to a fun, forward-thinking, and empowering workplace.
Working hours and location:
The role is full time - starting between 8.00am and 9.30am, and finish between 4.00pm and 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week with 30 minutes or 1 hour for lunch), and you will be based at our modern offices near York (YO60 6PG) 5 days a week, so having your own transport is essential.
