The Role:

  • Liverpool City Council are looking to recruit a Social Worker/Case Manager within our Youth Justice Team, which are part of Targeted Services for Children and Young People
  • As a Social Worker/Case Manager, you will have extensive experience of working directly with vulnerable children/young people in circumstances involving a high degree of risk and vulnerability
  • The service works with young people and their families where support and intervention is required, due to circumstances such as involvement in anti-social behaviour, criminality and/or criminal exploitation
  • The role will involve the development, delivery and co-ordination of a range of individualised services and programmes for young people, as well as working directly with children/young people with complex safeguarding requirements. This will also include the preparation of Pre-Sentence Reports
