We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with care standards, and providing exceptional support to residents.
Duties
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring that all residents receive personalised and dignified care.
- Lead and mentor a team of care staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
- Conduct assessments of residents' needs and develop individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure adherence to safety protocols regarding medication management.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement training programmes for staff to enhance their skills and improve service delivery.
- Who we are looking for
- Must be a Registered General Nurse
- Proven experience in a Registered or General Manager role (minimum 5 years)
- Minimum 5 years in the care sector
- Level 5 NVQ (or equivalent) in Leadership & Management or working toward it
- Strong leadership, organizational, and business development skills
- Excellent understanding of CQC standards and compliance
- A confident, caring, and motivational personality
- Driving license and UK work authorisation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
Work Location: In person
