Sharp Consultancy is delighted to be working with a respected Sheffield-based service organisation on a newly created Finance Manager role. Reporting to an established leadership team, this opportunity offers international exposure, high visibility and genuine career progression.

This role has been newly created with business demand to take full ownership of a fast-growing business region. You will partner with sales and commercial teams to streamline reporting processes and influence board level decision making. This position will be ideal for those who have a strong technical background and aspire to have more commercial presence in their role.

Package to include:

  • Salary between £55,000 - £60,000
  • Up to 3 days WFH
  • 25 days AL + 8 BH
  • 5% Employer pension contribution

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Ownership of general ledger accounting and financial reporting processes
  • Detailed analysis of P&L and balance sheet
  • Assisting in the production of monthly board report which is discussed with the Senior Management Team
  • Perform trend and variance analysis
  • Business partner with sales and commercial teams
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of systems, financial procedures and internal controls
  • Assist in the creation of a budget model and support the annual budget and business planning process
  • Support cash flow forecasting processes
