Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and heating, demonstrating proficiency in residential plumbing and heating systems. This role requires the ability to work with various tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential properties.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
• Perform soldering tasks as required for pipe fittings and repairs.
• Conduct assembly of plumbing components and fixtures.
• Execute carpentry work related to plumbing installations when necessary.
• Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for various projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and plumbing codes during all operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation of tools and materials.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
