Temp - Finance Assistant

We're looking for a Temporary Finance Assistant to support our busy finance team over a 3-month period.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with accounts or finance admin experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
- On site
- 37.5 hours per week –Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using our accounting software
- Processing sales invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner
- Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting with processing purchase invoices when workload requires
- Providing backup to Credit Control when necessary
- Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance tasks and projects
- Helping with the financial year-end audit, supplying documentation and information as needed
- Supporting the implementation of new accounting systems or software
- Answering phones and dealing with general finance-related queries when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (e.g. Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator)
- Confidence using accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to help the wider team
