Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations. This role requires a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage logistical tasks effectively. The Driver will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Operate hgv 2 muck away tipper
  • Deliver goods to clients: aggregates and muck away.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues​
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and delivery updates
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards during transportation activities
  • Training can be provided

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or similar role , but training can be provided.
  • Strong driving skills with a clean driving licence, preferably with a driver qualification
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members effectively
  • Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or other route planning tools
  • Organised with the capacity to manage time effectively under tight schedules
