Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes in accordance with menu specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and surfaces
- Support the team during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when necessary
- Contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere for guests through excellent service and presentation
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar environment is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and meal preparation
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
