Duties

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety guidelines
  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes in accordance with menu specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and surfaces
  • Support the team during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of orders
  • Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when necessary
  • Contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere for guests through excellent service and presentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
  • Experience working in a restaurant or similar environment is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • A genuine interest in culinary arts and meal preparation
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
