Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a background in coaching.

Please note, this is a Zero Hours contract

Our current operating hours are;

Mon - Fri

15:30 to 19:00

Sat

9:00 to 12:30

Responsibilities

  • Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills.

Skills

  • Experience in in swimming or aquatic activities.
  • Strong teaching abilities with the capability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey instructions clearly.
  • Ability to work well with individuals of varying ages and abilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student progress effectively.
  • DBS Check (REQUIRED)
  • STA Level 2 in Swimming (REQUIRED). Life guarding certificate desired, but not essential

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
