RoSPA South Wales

RoSPA South Wales are a voluntary group based in the Swansea area whose aim is to promote road safety and reduce road accidents by delivering advanced training.

RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders have over 65 local groups throughout the UK who provide free training to help individuals improve their driving skills and prepare them to take the ultimate Advanced Test.
Group Treasurer (unpaid voluntary role)

RoSPA South Wales group is looking for a new Group Treasurer to manage their group accounts and attend their bi-monthly meetings. The new treasurer would take up position in January 2026 at the AGM.

Whilst the South Wales Group operates under the umbrella of the National RoSPA Charity,
this is not a trustee role.
The group is looking for a motivated individual with good IT, communication and people skills who can monitor and report on annual membership fees, group income from training days and general group expenses.

If you have an interest in cars and driving or motorbikes and riding, so much the better, but this is not a requirement of the role.

About RoSPA South Wales Group
The group's general meeting is currently held at 7pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Bryncoch Community Centre, 163 Main Road, Bryncoch SA10 7TT.

They regularly host training events (3rd Saturday of the month), social rideouts (1st Sunday of the month) and social events with guest speakers. The group caters for both Cars and Motorcycles and have around 200 members with a healthy mix of car, motorcycle and social members.
