Sony Pictures Television's new Digital Studio is here to shape the future of entertainment - developing creator-first, platform-native original content for digital audiences. The newly launched Digital Studio will create YouTube series, partnerships with creators, podcasts, and branded content that's bold, audience-first, and tailored to how people really watch.

We're looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Production / Team Assistant to support the Digital Studio's production activities and provide administrative assistance to the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about digital content, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth running of both production and team operations, working closely with the Head of Production & Operations and providing direct support to the VP, Commercial. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across various aspects of digital content creation and team management.

What You'll Do:

Production Support:

  • Assist with all stages of production, from pre-production planning to on-set support and post-production tasks
  • Help with location scouting, equipment rentals, creator casting, and crew coordination.
  • Prepare call sheets and support the Producer/ Production Manager in all stages of production
  • Provide support during shoots, including managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and assisting with talent.
  • Assist with the organisation and management of production assets.
  • Research and stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in digital content creation.
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Reconcile floats, production expenses, and credit card expenses

Team Assistance:

  • Manage the diary and schedule for the VP, Commercial, including arranging meetings and coordinating travel.
  • Provide administrative support to the Digital Studio team
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Be a proactive and helpful member of the team, willing to take on any task, big or small.

YouTube & Digital Content Expertise

  • Share your knowledge and passion for YouTube and digital content with the team.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends, creators, and content formats on YouTube and other social media platforms.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to help the team optimise content for digital audiences.

What You'll Bring (Required Skills and Qualifications)

  • A genuine passion for digital content and a strong understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms (demonstrated through personal projects, work experience, or other relevant activities).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing).
  • A proactive and can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Eagerness to "muck in" and assist with a variety of tasks.
  • A desire to learn and grow within the digital content creation industry.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Experience in publishing to digital platforms and growing audiences as a Creator / Influencer
  • Familiarity with production equipment and processes.
  • Experience providing administrative support.
