Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Health Care Assistant to lead and support care staff in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care. Working under the direction of the care manager, you will supervise care teams, ensuring they are working effectively, monitor residents' health and wellbeing and ensure that any changes are reflected in the care plans. Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure all duties are completed safely and to a high standard. Monitor and guide staff to ensure compliance with care policies and best practices. You would be responsible for medication management in line with regulatory requirements. The role involves having oversight of the overall shift and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and effectively. Uphold and enforce all health and safety, safeguarding and infection control procedures. This may include supporting with personal care, social activities as required. On the shift in the absence of management you would be acting as a key point of contact for families and professionals. You would be working closely with the management team to review processes and the dependency needs of the residents to promote a learning culture that thrives. Pay: £13.50-£13.75 per hour
