Job description

A great opportunity has arisen at Commercial Vehicle Bodies Ltd (CVB) for an enthusiastic body maker. CVB build both commercial vehicle bodies and repair them. We have vacancies to help with our increased workload, immediate starts available.

Duties Include:

  • To build, repair and modify commercial vehicle bodies.
  • Fabricating and welding.
  • Reading Job cards and technical drawings
  • Using various air tools (grinders, drills, etc)

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in building or repairing commercial vehicle (light or heavy) is a distinct advantage but not essential.
  • Experience and knowledge in welding and fabrication.
  • Be able to competently use small hand tools.
  • Excellent time keeping and reliability.
  • To work five days a week.
  • Stick to build time frames.
  • Awareness of and adhere to all housekeeping and Health and Safety Regulations.
