Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • General Gas and HVAC plant maintenance
  • Maintenance / repairs / on general gas kit, Unvented hot water cylinders, including mechanical and plumbing on site.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • To maintain on site log books, permits and site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.
  • The Commercial Gas Engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, our client is looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focussed.
  • The callout rota is on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 8 weeks).

Skills And Qualifications Required
Knowledge and Understanding

  • Knowledge of gas systems/plant and over 5 years' experience in similar Gas/Plumbing / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.
  • Knowledge and experience of all Gas plant including, but not limited to Commercial gas boilers/water heaters, unvented hot water heaters, plumbing and pipework systems, expansion vessels, pumps etc.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2/3
