The focus is on developing C/C++ code for embedded electronic systems and user interfaces, but can include desktop applications as well. A second focus is the development and management of software tests and formal test documentation.As part of sales support and proposal generation, participation in the analysis and composition of requirements, design of architectural and component software features, design and implementation of system, design and implementation of test plan, and documentation of final product are required.Responsibilities & TasksThe position comprises a number of roles, where the principal ones are: Senior Embedded Software Design EngineerSenior Embedded Software Test EngineerSenior Embedded Software Design EngineerResponsibilities: Software quality and compliance with internal standardsProduction of software design documents and contribution to technical documentationEnsuring the correct functionality and performance of software modulesContribution to software framework road mapsMain tasks">• C/C++ code development and unit testing Implementation of libraries to support interfaces including, but not limited to, RS232/RS422, CAN, RTP, UDP and TCP/IPGUI development using commercial and open source librariesSystem control and monitoring software application developmentImplementation and testing of video processing software using commercial and open source librariesProviding support to production during factory and assurance testsSenior Embedded Software Test EngineerResponsibilities Full code coverage for test codeQuality of testing and test documentationTest concept and specificationQuality of release candidate softwareMain tasks Testing software systems and sub-systemsClose interaction with SoC architects, FPGA and Embedded software developmentDocumenting test performanceDesigning test frameworks and generating test stimuliManual and automatic testing of code, configuration control, build tool configuration and documentation.WHAT WE OFFER YOUWe want REUK to be the employer you chose to build your career with.
