Senior Management Accountant

WeBuyAnyPhone is a fast-growing, forward-thinking business with exciting plans to evolve our model and launch new income pillars over the next 12 months. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Senior Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in transforming our financial processes, strengthening our reporting capability, and ensuring robust revenue assurance.

Location: Whiteley (Hybrid – office-first, ad-hoc WFH)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per year

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

Reports to: Head of Finance

What You'll Be Doing

• Producing timely monthly management accounts and board reporting packs.
• Deputising for the Head of Finance when required.
• Leading revenue assurance reconciliation and improving related processes.
• Analysing financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Managing cashflow reporting and forecasting.
• Ensuring VAT, PAYE, and statutory compliance.
• Controlling and analysing costs across the organisation.
• Monitoring performance against KPIs and providing insight and recommendations.
• Streamlining and automating financial processes, supporting system changes.
• Collaborating closely with Operations, Commercial, and other internal teams to support decision-making.

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
• Strong management accounting experience, including transactional exposure.
• Experience working in a small finance team within an SME environment.
• Strong Excel capability and confidence with data.
• A hands-on, proactive approach.
• Ability to challenge, question, and drive continuous improvement.
• Clear, confident communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience with Salesforce or Sage 200.
• Background in a business up to ~£25m turnover.
